Arester surja Domae ini melindungi instalasi perumahan 1P+N dan bangunan yang lebih besar terhadap tegangan lebih transien tidak langsung. Arus pelepasan maksimum Imax adalah 40kA. Arus debit nominal adalah 15kA. Ini melindungi instalasi listrik terhadap sambaran petir langsung. Tegangan operasi kontinu maksimum Uc dalam mode umum adalah 260VAC antara netral dan bumi, dan 340VAC antara fase dan bumi.
